On November 22, 2020, the “Forum on the Implementation of Green Clauses in the Civil Code and the Specialization of Environmental and Resource Justice and the 2020 Annual Meeting of the Research Society of Environmental and Resource Protection Law of the Shanghai Law Society” was successfully held in Baoshan Campus of Shanghai University. This forum and annual meeting was co sponsored by the Research Society of Environmental and Resource Protection Law of the Shanghai Law Society, the Third Intermediate People’s Court of Shanghai, undertaken by the School of Law of Shanghai University, and co organized by the Shanghai Higher People’s Court, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, and the Environmental Resources and Energy Law Research Center of Fudan University.

Experts, scholars and postgraduates from the Supreme People’s Court, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, provincial (municipal) courts, procuratorates, environmental protection departments (bureaus) and other practical departments in the Yangtze River Delta region, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Hehai University, Tongji University, East China Normal University, East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai University, Shanghai Institute of Political Science and Law, and more than 100 representatives from some law firms attended the meeting

Zhang Zitai, a lawyer from Shanghai Zhonghua Law Firm, served as the chairman of the Environmental and Resource Protection Law Research Association of the Shanghai Law Society and a professor of the Law School of Fudan University as the moderator of the meeting and delivered a closing speech
