Why did you become a lawyer</ strong>

This has never been a clear career goal for me since I was a child in school until I entered college more than ten years later. Until I realized that the language major was not my ideal, and I overheard several famous teachers’ law courses,

He successfully completed the undergraduate minor course in law and was admitted to Fudan University as a postgraduate of Master of Law. He really started the systematic study of law.

After graduation, I naturally entered the law firm as a civil procedure law major, starting from the most basic litigation practice lawyer.

It has been ten years since the first court session, which was just a novice, was filled with confusion and anxiety, to communicate with customers in a refined and friendly manner, quickly find the crux and key points of the case, calmly hold the court session, deal with it in a clear and orderly way, and look back</ strong>

In the past ten years, we believe that every lawyer can feel the same experience through the continuous accumulation and updating of professional aspects and the summary of experience and lessons. In addition, we also have the understanding and grasp of “people”.

A good lawyer should not only know the rules of laws and regulations, but also deal with different people appropriately according to their different characteristics and psychology, so that legal expertise can be targeted</ strong>

For example,when dealing with customers, especially those facing litigation disputes, they are anxious and aggrieved, and desperately need to talk and realize their demands. At this time, the lawyer should first express subjective sympathy and understanding, but it should be remembered that the lawyer is not a simple psychological consultant. If the client is allowed to talk all the time, it will undoubtedly waste time and bury the facts in the confused complaints. Therefore, the lawyer must prompt and guide the client’s narrative at an appropriate time, and grasp the main contradiction of the case in the tedious narrative. After analyzing the case, it is necessary to objectively and gently inform the client of the risk of litigation. Never make unrealistic promises to customers for a short time.

Another example isWhen dealing with judges, we should know that they face a large number of cases every day. Therefore, before each telephone communication, we must be fully prepared to make the most simple and high-level summary of the case to be inquired and communicated. We must not recall the case number and the situation of the parties after the telephone communication. It not only delays the judge’s time, but also gives the judge the impression that lawyers are not professional and attentive enough. At the same time, lawyers should give full play to the role of bridge between the parties and judges.

A good lawyer is not just a microphone for the parties and the judge, but should form his own professional judgment after secondary analysis of the parties’ demands and the judge’s opinions and give them to all parties</ strong>

I once saw a scene at the filing scene where the judge needed the lawyer to sign the return receipt of the case materials. The lawyer hesitated to ask for the consent of the party before signing. However, after calling the party, because the party was not at the scene and did not know the situation, and the party was not a legal professional, and did not know what the consequences of signing would be, the ball was kicked back to the lawyer again. At the same time, the lawyer left an impression of being unprofessional in the minds of both the judge and the client.

Therefore, when lawyers are required to make decisions, they should objectively judge and be prepared to analyze and explain to the parties in the later stage on the basis of safeguarding the interests of the parties</ strong>

After ten years in the lawyer industry, the taste is not just a thousand words.
