Guided by the guiding principles of the 19th CPC National Congress, we will fully implement the Party’s work requirements on managing the Party and exercising strict self-governance, in order to better educate Party members about history and enhance their Party spirit. Zhonghua Law Firm organized Party members’ lawyers to go to the Yanggensi Martyrs’ Memorial Hall to carry out a red education campaign of “Remembering history and remembering martyrs”.

On the afternoon of July 20, 2019, under the leadership of Jin Heshan, Secretary of the Party Branch of the law firm, and Xue Guocai, director of the Party branch of the law firm, members of the Party Branch of the law firm paid respects to the Yanggensi Martyr Memorial Hall together.

Martyr Yang Gensi followed the troops to the North and South, not afraid of difficulties and hardships, has experienced the war of resistance against Japan, the war of liberation and the war against the United States to aid the Korean War fire baptism, participated in more than 300 battles, relying on their own excellent quality and courage, in all the major battles repeatedly made amazing achievements. He firmly believed that as long as he listened to the Party and followed its lead, he “would not believe that any task was impossible; Do not believe that there are insurmountable difficulties; I do not believe that there is an enemy that cannot be defeated.

In November 1950. In the Battle of 1071 Highland Xiaogaoling, he led his company to beat back the US army’s eight attacks in a row. When he was left alone in the last position, he resolutely rushed to the enemy group with his explosive pack with the fearless revolutionary spirit and the heroic spirit of “man in position”, and died with the enemy. He was only 28 years old.

By learning the great deeds of martyr Yang Gensi, all the lawyers of the Party members have experienced a rare tempering of party spirit and spiritual baptism, and have expressed that they will learn from martyr Yang Gensi’s spirit of “people in front of the position”, better serve the people based on their posts, and strive for the socialist cause for life.
